Customer Sales Report

The Customer Sales Report shows the balances and cumulative sales to the customers you specify, and summarizes the sales activity for these customers.

The following information is printed in the report:

  • Quantity sold, sales amounts, and number of invoices come from summary history.
  • Gross profit is sales minus the COGS amount.
  • Average invoice is sales divided by the number of invoices.
  • Grand totals are produced for sales, gross profit, and number of invoices.
  • Pct/Tot in the Sales column is the amount for the customer divided by the total amount for the company, which is stored in the company record in summary history.
  • Pct/Tot for items is the amount of the item divided by the customer's total.
  • Pct/Tot in the Gross Profit column is the grand total divided by the company total from the company record for the period and year. Pct/Tot may be less than 100 if you print this report for a limited range of customers, customer classes, and sales reps.
  • Pct/Tot in the No of Invoices column on the Customer line is the number of invoices for the customer divided by the grand total. Pct/Tot for items is the number of invoices for the item divided by the total number of invoices for the customer.
